I don't really see how much I need to add to a report about the need to know how to breathe properly. I can only suggest that it is critically important and serves as a central feature of the work I do with the folks I consult with on improving their physical, mental and emotional health. The other point I can make is that knowing how to breathe and using that knowledge last month likely saved my life as I dealt with being infected with the COVID-19 virus. I also credit 5 days of clarithromycin and megadoses of Vitamin C and D and lots of morning sunshine and the love and care of my wife Nancy. When it came to the contractions and constant pressure in my lungs and chest, I needed to work on deepening (diaphragmatic) and slowing my respiration to 6/minute, I was glad to know what had to be done.
I regret this is behind the WSJ paywall so maybe someone with a subscription can share the full text. https://www.wsj.com/articles/the-healing-power-of-proper-breathing-11590098696?mod=e2fb

I've commented before about the use of ultraviolet light wavelengths as a way to kill viruses and bacteria on surfaces. I'm happy now that we can add skin surfaces to this list with the use of a smaller band of UVC frequencies that won't harm human tissue. This represents a major advanc in our ability to prevent spread of the COVID 19 and other viruses by exposing them to these light frequencies. Products that can clean air ducts and hospital rooms will soon be helping stop the spread of the pandemic virus without harming people, animals or the environment.
Quietmind Foundation's clinical facility in Elkins Park uses UVC to clean all the electronic equipment and surfaces in our treatment space and waiting area overnight. We continue to use the standard methods of masks, hand washing and Clorox wipes for some surfaces including everyone's shoes before they enter. This is a really great advance using noninvasive and environmentally friendly technology to serve a very serious heath and safety need. I located this bulb on Amazon and it delivers the far-UVC range of frequencies and covers a 30x20' space which is perfect for my consulting area at work. I can run the unit between sessions and have a virus free environment that won't cause skin damage or harm electronics. https://smile.amazon.com/DuuToo-Lamp%EF%BC%88Double-Available%EF%BC%89Covers-Disinfection-lamp%EF%BC%88Remote/dp/B0886FPSZS/ref=sr_1_3_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=far+uvc+lamp&qid=1590150378&sr=8-3-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExSkk3MExFVUU0VjlYJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUExMDIyMjc1UDQ4TENRT01GVkpIJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTAzMDE5MjlNRDNNUVRUT1RERjgmd2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGYmYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl#customerReviews Welch, D., Buonanno, M., Grilj, V. et al. Far-UVC light: A new tool to control the spread of airborne-mediated microbial diseases. Sci Rep 8, 2752 (2018). https://doi.org/10.1038/s41598-018-21058-w This article brings a greater level of clarity to the argument for APA and DSMV to validate and integrate neuroimaging data into psychiatric diagnosis and treatment. Further, we advocate the use of Quantitative EEG (QEEG) assessment technology because it offers the best temporal and spatial resolution of current imaging techniques. Quietmind Fdn. has used QEEG in its clinical research and treatment programs for 10+ years to determine the training protocols needed for people to improve their cognitive and behavioral functioning.
