I've commented before about the use of ultraviolet light wavelengths as a way to kill viruses and bacteria on surfaces. I'm happy now that we can add skin surfaces to this list with the use of a smaller band of UVC frequencies that won't harm human tissue. This represents a major advanc in our ability to prevent spread of the COVID 19 and other viruses by exposing them to these light frequencies. Products that can clean air ducts and hospital rooms will soon be helping stop the spread of the pandemic virus without harming people, animals or the environment.
Quietmind Foundation's clinical facility in Elkins Park uses UVC to clean all the electronic equipment and surfaces in our treatment space and waiting area overnight. We continue to use the standard methods of masks, hand washing and Clorox wipes for some surfaces including everyone's shoes before they enter. This is a really great advance using noninvasive and environmentally friendly technology to serve a very serious heath and safety need. I located this bulb on Amazon and it delivers the far-UVC range of frequencies and covers a 30x20' space which is perfect for my consulting area at work. I can run the unit between sessions and have a virus free environment that won't cause skin damage or harm electronics. https://smile.amazon.com/DuuToo-Lamp%EF%BC%88Double-Available%EF%BC%89Covers-Disinfection-lamp%EF%BC%88Remote/dp/B0886FPSZS/ref=sr_1_3_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=far+uvc+lamp&qid=1590150378&sr=8-3-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExSkk3MExFVUU0VjlYJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUExMDIyMjc1UDQ4TENRT01GVkpIJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTAzMDE5MjlNRDNNUVRUT1RERjgmd2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGYmYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl#customerReviews Welch, D., Buonanno, M., Grilj, V. et al.
