Institutional Review Board (IRB)
Support for Integrative Health Research

Because of the unique, innovative nature of our mission, QuietMIND Foundation established an Institutional Review Board (IRB) in 2003 and offers it for use by clinician/ researchers in neurofeedback, neuromodulation, functional and integrative medicine, Bioenergetic and body-centered therapies and related fields. The IRB’s mission is to support the broader goal of increasing the level and sophistication of peer-reviewed published evidence by reviewing and monitoring the study's scientific merit, safety and ethical treatment of subjects. QMF's IRB panelists are drawn from a wide range of fields and are largely internationally recognized experts in their respective fields along with a diverse representation of the general public.

We strongly encourage neurotechnologists, device developers and clinicians who wish to deepen their understanding and contribute to the advancement of their discipline to consider conducting applied clinical research with QMF's support and guidance. Selected
IRB members will be selected to provide expert technical and process consultation on protocol design, implementation, data management and analysis, and manuscript preparation for publication.
