Quantitative EEG (QEEG) assessments are used to understand how an individual's brain is functioning. To conduct this assessment, an individual will wear a cap that monitors and records the brain's electrical activity. These recordings are then compared to normative data to understand how the individual's brain is functioning and to construct neurofeedback training protocols. Quietmind uses a saline-based technique to collect EEG data so there is little abrasion, gel and paste left in the person's hair after the recording is completed. We re also working to advance the use of high quality biodegradable, sterilizable recording caps to viral and other contaminants. QEEGs are often completed in 20-30 minutes.
