Continuing the theme of what can we do right now to prevent infection with CV19, I want to stress the importance of aerobic exercise which stimulates the production of a powerful antioxidant "extracellular superoxide dismutase" (EcSOD). Exercise that increases breathing rate, depth and elevates heart rate will produce EcSOD. This is a very direct way we all can act to prevent infection and to improve our rate of recovery. I can attest to this from my own personal experience with recovering from CV19 infection last month. I practiced breathing techniques to deepen my intake to lower lobes, slowed my rate to 6 breaths a minute and climbed stairs in my South Philly row home (of which there are many) to get my heart rate up during my quarantine period. I think this routine along with infrared light stimulation and megadosing VitC and D helped me recover without heart, lung or kidney damage.
This review paper by Zhen Yan, PhD, of the University of Virginia School of Medicine underscores the potential value of exercise as a way to prevent and/or minimize the severity of COVID-19 infection.
